		<description>Have you tried putting your toddler on your back in a sling while cooking.  She&#039;d be safe there for the majority of the jobs, even cooking on the hob (although I probably wouldn&#039;t use the oven) and if she&#039;s a bit grumpy she&#039;d probably settle there where she can see what you&#039;re doing. (If you don&#039;t have anything suitable I can lend you one to try, I have many!)

I personally use the TV when I&#039;m trying to cook, even though I&#039;d rather not.  I think I&#039;d better follow my own advice</description>
